Dr Alvin Teo graduated with MBBS from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 1998, obtained his Master of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) in 2003 and became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2005. His interest in Intensive Care Medicine led him to attain Fellowship of the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and Royal Australasia College of Physicians in 2009 and was admitted as a Foundation Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand in 2010. He also holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine as well as Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) in Critical Care from the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine.
He is an experienced adult anaesthesiologist and intensivist registered both in Singapore by the Singapore Medical Council as well as in Australia by the Medical Board of Australia. He was trained and trained physicians in the tertiary referral centres of National University Hospital (Singapore) and the Alfred Hospital (Melbourne, Australia).
